Growth is the outcome of the trading year 2007 for the Mannheim based hoisting specialist SWF Krantechnik. The company’s sales volume has risen up again. For comparison: the growth from 2006 was then considered to be an all time high. Interesting is the development on the home market. The sales volume on this market was more than doubled within one year.

The reasons for this success are the independent crane building companies and hoisting dealers that cooperate very closely with SWF. Their local strength and knowledge of the market in the vicinity are the best conditions for the usage of hoisting components from Mannheim. Because in the end the name of the local crane builder is still printed on the crane bridge and the hoist promises reliability.

Large orders – numbers as well as volume – have again been another reason for SWF’s good business results. Long-time business partnerships and satisfied end customers are the basis for this – just as well as the products from Mannheim such as the electric wire rope hoist NOVA or the electric chain hoist SK that both have a high status in the industry.

In 2008 a couple of presentations at trade fairs for the materials handling industry such as the CeMAT and smaller ones are planned. The new light crane system with aluminium profiles is ready to be introduced into the market and a strong advertising campaign rounds up the public presentation of the company. The economic aims are again set a little higher – and are not unachievable for the growing team at SWF Krantechnik.
