We have enhanced the protection of the electric limit switch for our electric chain hoists so that the attached loads are stopped even more safely than before.

A bent metal sheet protects the top of the limit switch not only against the direct contact with the tripping device above the hook block, but also against all other contacts prior to operating e.g. during transportation or installation. Through this the life-time of the limit switches is increased comparatively.

This protection system is introduced as a new standard in types SKb, SKC, SKD, SKE, and SKF as from now on. Excepted are the types SKalpha.
