For three years the nearly 20 girls between 14 and 16 have now been doing their training together. And for the last three years they have also been winning together. The F 14 “Razors“ team of the Swedish floorball club VV84 Bjuv is on its way up to the top of the league. And SWF Krantechnik is supporting the young sportswomen’s success as their sponsor.

SWF Krantechnik partner, the Swedish crane building company Gripp LyftdonService AB, made contact between SWF and the “Razors“. Magnus Guldenstam, one of Gripp’s crane specialists, coaches the team in his spare time together with his voluntary colleagues Martin Persson and Tommy Hakansson.

Floorball is very popular in Scandinavia, Czechia and Switzerland at the moment. But the game that is similar to indoor-hockey also gains interest in Germany. Because of the dynamic game with its fast changing constellations and situations floorball is one of the fastest indoor sports. The rules are stricter than in hockey. And hockey is much more physical. In floorball only pushing with shoulders and knees is allowed. And it is also possible to play behind the goals.

The F 14 sportswomen of VV84 Bjuv practise a couple of times a week for the league matches that usually take place on the weekends. Competitions such as the Gothia Innebandy Cup in January 2007 in Goteborg are also on the schedule. The “Razors“ were able to win a very good 2nd place in their group. At the moment they are on top of the league and are on their way to become one of the best floorball teams of southern Sweden. Coach Magnus Guldenstam is ever again surprised with how much discipline and ambition the girls fight for their success. SWF was able to help a little by purchasing new tricots and bags for the hockey sticks.
